After receiving a report about incompatibilities between the Broken Link Reporting form and screen reading software, several people worked together to identify the issues, implement code, and test the form. The Broken Link Reporting form is now compatible with screen reader software and is being deployed to all MnPALS member Primo VE instances who use it. Minnesota State Implements LibKey Complete
In order to support affordability efforts in libraries, Senior Vice Chancellor Green-Stephen agreed to fund Third Iron’s LibKey Complete for all institutions in Minnesota State beginning in July of 2023. This is ongoing funding that acknowledges that improving infrastructure can reduce barriers to access to research resources. Randi Madisen takes Role as OER Librarian for Minnesota State
Randi Madisen is the new half-time OER Librarian for Minnesota State. She has been a librarian at Century College for the past 15 years. She has become increasingly involved with OER and Z-Degree efforts, completing both the Creative Commons and OER Librarian certificates. In previous incarnations, she worked at the Minnesota State Law Library and the Legislative Reference Library.
