Improved Accessibility for Broken Link Reporting
After receiving a report about incompatibilities between the Broken Link Reporting form and screen reading software, several people worked together to identify the issues, implement code, and test the form. The Broken Link Reporting form is now compatible with screen reader software and is being deployed to all MnPALS member Primo VE instances who use it. Previously included as part of the November/December 2021 PALS Newsletter. Introduced by PALS in June 2020, PALS Tech Staff (mainly Simon Mai) adapted code shared on the Ex Libris Tech Blog allowing library patrons and staff to report problems linking out to Electronic Collections from Primo VE.
