Registration Open – Lake Superior Libraries Unsymposium
The ninth annual Lake Superior Libraries Unsymposium is going virtual this year! The 2021 ‘unconference’ will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, from 1-4 pm. The online meeting platform Unhangout will be used to brainstorm and vote on discussion topics before breaking out into small groups for discussion. The Unsymposium is free and open to everyone. Minnesota Speed Test Initiative
The Minnesota Rural Broadband Coalition is conducting a statewide crowd-sourced internet speed testing initiative. The goal of this project is to create an accurate statewide map of where internet service is available and what speeds people are currently receiving. Using the easy-to-follow instructions, anyone can complete the speed test at home using any computer or mobile device.
“Change the Subject” – Screening and Q&A with Tina Gross
Tuesday, August 18, 2020 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Minitex announces a virtual screening of Change the Subject, followed by a discussion with Tina Gross, a librarian who is interviewed in the film. Minitex restarting Interlibrary Loan
The Minitex delivery network will be available for direct interlibrary loan requests starting Monday, July 20, 2020. Pandemic doesn’t stop the 21st century library
