The position exists to provide customer support for current and future library management software and tools for the MnPALS Consortium of Libraries and other libraries as needed. This includes resolving software application problems, managing and prioritizing support incidents, and testing functionality in version upgrades. This position will also be creating needed documentation and delivering training on software functionality using state of the art methods. Some travel is required. The incumbent specializes in systems librarian-related functions such as system-wide settings, staff permissions and security, notice generation and distribution, and XSL-based reporting.
