Opendora now available Opendora: the all-in-one solution for the storage of open education resources for Minnesota State

Opendora is a central digital repository developed by PALS that empowers you as Minnesota State faculty and staff to preserve, load, share and manage open education resources (OER). Textbooks, syllabi, lecture notes, reading lists, and videos are just some examples. It is possible to add any format including Word documents, PDFs, MP4s and MOV files. You will be able to log in through D2L Brightspace and load your documents. Access is available by discipline and supported by a robust search, as well as browse options of author, institution, resource type, and course. Searches can be narrowed through terms that appear as filters after a search. These terms are generated from data entry conducted before loading occurs. You can use this custom data entry form to describe your material in a way that ensures discoverability. By providing this access to OER you are helping to meet the main goal of Opendora, which is to reduce the costs of textbooks and class materials for students
