Q & A (The following Reports will not be read or printed out, we will only answer questions)
Cataloging / Data Reconciliation Breakout Session: A review of recommended services and projects to get your bibliographic, holding, adm, and item records in order. The reason this is important is because over time standards have changed, human error has created issues, and a little reconciliation work will help your records migrate cleanly. So, if you're still wondering about what you need to do, attend this session. Additionally, some time will be spent discussing useful activities for the Spring Workday.
Unconference Report Breakout Session:A report from the previous day's Unconference on Cooperative Collection Development, including a discussion of where to go next.
REF Timely Topics Breakout Session: Members of the Reference and Instruction User Group Steering Committee will lead participants in small group discussion of topics of interest to attendees regarding best practices.
12:20 PM - 1:40 PM: Lunch (on your own or bring your own lunch)
IPEDS Breakout Session: Are you intimidated by the IPEDS Academic Libraries Component and the ACRL Trends and Statistics Survey? Normandale and Century librarians will discuss each statistic, including how and when to collect those pesky pieces of information. We will also discuss changes in the survey for this round. Bring your questions (and maybe even your answers) from previous years to contribute to the discussion. PowerPoint presented at meeting(must login to the PALS Support Center to access document).
ILL Best Practices Breakout Session: What are your workflows and best practices? In this session, join the ILL User Group as we will talk best practices for monitoring copyright, getting ready for the new ILS with some data cleanup, and review the MnPALS ILL policies.
