Time is swiftly moving toward the Aleph Version 22 upgrade on April 11 and 12th!
If you have not tried out Aleph version 22 on the development server yet, it is IMPORTANT that you do! You have just over one more week left to try it. We are hoping to prevent surprises on the 12th by testing as thoroughly as possible before we go live.
Testing: The last day for testing on dev22 is Tuesday, April 7.
Table changes: If you make any changes to tables or files on dev22, they will not be saved. Only tables and files on the Aleph production version 21 server will be moved to the Aleph production version 22 on April 6. The last day for making table changes on prod21 is Sunday, April 5. (This is a change from April 3. You have two extra days.)
Downtime: The Aleph production server will be down from Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 am until Sunday, April 12 sometime in the afternoonto do the switch to Aleph Version 22. The web OPAC and MnPALS Plus will be redirected to dev21 during this time, which will have the data from Aleph prod21 as of April 4.
Aleph 22 Go Live Instructions will be available at the link above with instructions on what to do before, during, and after this time when the production server is down. Watch for the announcement soon.
