This is just a reminder that last Spring the PALS Office published recommended data reconciliation timelines and checklists to assist libraries in reviewing and cleaning up their data. While the dates in the documents have passed, the steps are still recommended. There are two documents available on the Support Center covering Acquisitions/Serials, Circulation and ILL at Answer 3747 and a document for Cataloging at Answer 3768. If you have any questions, please submit them via the PALS Support Center. We also request someone from your library periodically update the line for your library in the DataCleanup2016 spreadsheet. This will help the PALS Office know where libraries are in the process.
As work continues on completing the contract and the migration/implementation process, additional needs for data reconciliation may be identified. At that point, our office would release information on these additional steps with instructions on how to perform them.
