We are ready to have the consortium libraries begin testing version 22. The go live switch to Aleph production date has been set for April 12.
It will be especially important that you install the version 22 client, thoroughly test the printing functionality, look at the data that has been migrated from version 22 (as of August 2, 2014), and test all other functionality on the dev22 test server. Your Aleph tables and files have been synced to the production 21 server and are current to February 20. You will have until Sunday, April 5 to test. If you find something that you think is a problem, please let us know right away. Use the PALS Support Center and select product “Version 22 Upgrade”.
If you make any changes to the tables or files on dev22, they will not be saved. Only tables and files on the production version 21 server will be moved to production version 22 in April.
The production server will go down on Saturday, April 11 to do the switch over. The web OPAC and MnPALS Plus will be redirected to dev21 during this time, which will have the data from prod21 as of April 3.
