The Advanced Generic Vendor Records Loader (file-90) service is a tool that can be used for assisting in Data Reconciliation endeavors. The webinar session will go over the steps and recommended best practices to employ, when working with this service.
This is just a reminder that last Spring the PALS Office published recommended data reconciliation timelines and checklists to assist libraries in reviewing and cleaning up their data. While the dates in the documents have passed, the steps are still recommended. The PALS Library Consortium Office located at Minnesota State University, Mankato has an opening for a full-time Support & Training Specialist - Cataloging & Metadata. This position exists to provide PALS customers with consultation, software support, training and documentation services to those using the Aleph system and other supported software. The incumbent specializes in the areas of metadata management, database quality control and cataloging.
