On April 21, from 1-2 pm, Adam Marsnik (Normandale Community College) and Randi Madisen (Century College) hosted a conference call on the NCES Academic Libraries Survey (ALS) (previously IPEDS). The survey allows you to compare your library’s statistics with other academic libraries in the U.S. The survey is conducted every two years, but it is important to collect data for it every year. The statistics generated for the IPEDS ALS survey are also useful for accreditation purposes. It is recommended that you get your statistics as close to June 30 as possible.
