The PALS Office is pleased to announce an upcoming IPEDS/ACRL Survey Office Hour hosted by Adam Kauwenberg-Marsnik, Randi Madisen and Lacey Mamak. Please see below for their announcement:
"If you work at an academic library, you are probably busily compiling statistics to answer questions for the ACRL Survey and the IPEDS Academic Libraries component. Are you wondering how other libraries answered that question about number of digital media? Do your budget numbers add up? Here’s a chance to ask your colleagues at other academic libraries how they compiled those pesky numbers.
If you are interested in joining Carrie Curie on Friday, February 3 from 1-2:30 for a webinar training on Global changes, please RSVP to her, via the PALS Support Center, by the end of Wednesday, January 25th with the Global Changes Authorization form filled out. If you have already submitted the form, please let her know that it has already been submitted.
Dan Honetschlager and Carrie Curie will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, February 15 from 1-2pm reviewing the Aleph Inventory process and answering questions that you may have about getting started with an inventory.
Please join Carrie Curie on either February 8th from 1-2:30 or February 16th from 10-11:30 for a webinar training on File-90. The Advanced Generic Vendor Records Loader (file-90) service is a tool that can be used for assisting in Data Reconciliation endeavors. The webinar session will go over the steps and recommended best practices to employ, when working with this service.
