Augsburg University oral histories site Augorah now available

In August 2019, Augsburg University archives staff completed Augorah, a site where faculty, students, and other members of the Augsburg community can upload oral histories. Augorah includes an oral history toolkit with instructions on getting started, equipment guides, links to release forms, and a helpful interview checklist. There is also information about Augorah, its policies, and supporting Augorah.

“Islandora’s capacity to support user-submitted archival content was a key factor in our decision to work with PALS to support our archives. We have been eager to position the archives as a resource that directly supports curriculum and research, and Augorah is the cornerstone of that effort. I continue to be impressed by PALS staff, who have been flexible and patient as we have built this oral history platform together,” said Stewart Van Cleve, Digital Archivist at Augsburg University.
