Downtime During Cutover Weekend and Going Live With Alma and Primo

Downtime on Aleph for all functions begins Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 5:00 pm.

Go-live on Alma and Primo will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

Ex Libris did a test extract on our Aleph production server and confirmed that they will be able to complete the final circulation migration between Thursday at 5 pm and Monday morning. That will give us the day on Monday to review our Circulation data and confirm that it is acceptable.

    Alma Availability During Cutover

I have an update below from Ex Libris about Alma availability beginning December 14. It is the recommendation of the PALS staff that you do not use Alma production from December 14 at midnight until your data is available in January. Your results will be unpredictable and likely confusing and frustrating (and who needs that?). If you report an Alma problem during this time, the PALS staff will likely be unable to assist you in its resolution. Instead, please use the Alma and Primo sandboxes (check with your implementation lead for information on how to access the sandboxes).
