- Recorder – Bonnie Kalla (SBJ)
- No additions or changes to agenda.
- Minutes from the Fall 2006 meeting were approved by Peter Jarnstrom (MSU) and second by Kathleen Ashe (SSU). All votes in favor.
- Discussion – How are libraries handling overdue ILL materials?
- Sonja Eilertson (PALS) gave an overview of the ill-30 report which generates an overdue status to the borrowing libraries.
- Few libraries are running this report automatically – Mike Barnett (PALS) reported around 12.
- Kathleen Ashe (SSU) proposed that it be run for all consortium libraries on a daily basis.
- Some discussion followed but since it is internal and doesn’t have an impact on circulation or generate notices to patrons there was a motion by Kathleen to have it run daily for all libraries. Kathie Martin (GAC) seconded it and the motion passed unanimously.
- Sonja spent some time explaining the systems set-up for overdue items – based on borrowing and lending libraries. Susan Dueis (PALS) announced that once documentation on these procedures is completed they will post it in the Answer Book.
