The MnPALS Indexing Task Force (MITF) is meeting biweekly and focusing on indexing needs for Aleph version 17.

The MITF asked for changes in the indexing for ISBN-13, language code indexes, and removal of specific note fields from specific indexes; details reported in previous minutes posted to PALS-CAT.

The removal of duplicate note field indexes will be used to test a problem with large records which max the keyword limit.

Testing by MITF will begin when libraries are allowed into version 17.
