MnPALS Mailing Lists

February 2008: To subscribe to the new mailing lists, go to http://lists.mnpals.org. Once on the page, choose MnPALS-Discuss and/or MnPALS-Announce and follow the directions provided. If you have problems subscribing to the list, send a question to the MnPALS Support Center at http://pals.custhelp.com/.

MnPALS-Discuss

The MnPALS-Discuss this is a discussion list for topics of general interest to MnPALS libraries. To post a message to all the list members, send email to mnpals-discuss@lists.mnpals.org. Enter in the Subject line the group/module this pertains to, then the subject content (e.g. "[SYSTEMS] Your Topic Here"). This list may be posted to by any list member. If you want to continue to receive information from the PALS office you should be subscribed to this list - MnPALS Discuss. The MnPALS Discuss list replaces all the PALS subsystem/module mailing lists as well as the general PALS-discussion list.

MnPALS-Announce

The MnPALS-Announce list will be the list used to send out announcements. This list will primarily be used for maintenance and system alerts. It will be set up so that only PALS Staff can send unmoderated posts to this list.

ELUNA Mailing List

The Ex Libris Users of North America has several mailing lists open to all current Ex Libris customers. Customer status is verified for all subscription requests. Their list of mailing lists and instructions to sign up can be found at http://el-una.org/web/mailing-lists.

Discontinued PALS Mailing Lists

MnSCU-PALS

Discontinued as of February 2008.
The mnscu-pals mailing list was used to communicate with the PALS libraries and to promote discussion among the individual library staff members.

Aleph Migration List

Discontinued as of February 2008.
The Aleph-Migration mailing list was the communication methods used during the libraries' migration to the Aleph software.
