South Central College Loves PALSconnect ERM!
South Central College is reaping the bountiful benefits of an Electronic Resource Management system. South Central College joins the four other libraries that are already actively using the PALSconnect ERM to streamline management of ever-growing electronic resource needs and demands.
“Once I made up my mind to get the process going, setting up the ERM was quick and painless, thanks to Dee. If I had fully understood the usefulness of it, I would have started using it much sooner“ said Johnna Horton, Director of Library/Media Services at South Central College.
If you’re finding it nearly impossible to manage your electronic resources and would like to learn more about how this service may help your library, contact the PALS Office.
Welcome South Central College!
Why are only a few US Libraries using CUFTS/GODOT?
January 27, 2012 - 6:06pmCUFTS/GODOT is the open source software powering PALSconnect LINKER and PALSconnect ERM
Dear PALS Abby:
"I see the Minnesota PALS system on the list of CUFTS "partners." Our library is considering using CUFTS (and GODOT) as our journal A to Z list and link resolver. We're a little alarmed at the minimal number of U.S. libraries who are using CUFTS, and are wondering why so few have adopted it. What are the issues??"

Dear Alarmed:
New version of PALSconnect ERM includes mobile version of Resource List
The latest version of PALSconnect ERM, which was installed on production on December 2, includes a version of the Resource List that was designed for use with mobile devices. This will provide patrons who are using mobile devices a view of the Resource List designed to be easily managed on a smaller screen.
If you are not currently a PALSconnect ERM customer and would like to check out the Resource List mobile interface, connect to our ERM sandbox.
